I study how organizations make decisions and sustain participation when authority is shared. My research combines longitudinal data on decentralized autonomous organizations with theory and computational models to examine how people, rules, and algorithms shape collective action.

Preference-Outcome Histories and Later Direct Ballots
Using longitudinal DAO voting records, we examine how members’ preference-outcome histories relate to whether and when they vote again.
Anticipated Evaluation, Power, and Collective Search
We model how anticipated evaluation affects present authority, collective search, and participation. The results identify consequences and boundary conditions, without establishing a general performance advantage.
