Collective decisions leave different histories for different members. Using longitudinal voting records from decentralized autonomous organizations, we examine how members’ preference–outcome histories predict whether they return to vote on subsequent collective decisions.

Who gets heard when a group is deciding what to do next? We use an agent-based model to examine how past performance and anticipated evaluation shape informal authority and collective search.

How does organizational decision-making change when authority is embedded in code? We theorize how decentralized autonomous agents reshape this process in organizations addressing societal grand challenges.
